I've managed to input my mystery shop, by pinching DD's phone for a while.....mine is now completely dead, so I have reverted to an old one with a cracked screen. It will have to do as I am reluctant to spend money on a new one just now. If I get DD her new one sorted, I might be able to have her old one as a hand-me-down......which would be fine.
I've been through the figures (again) and provided we don't have any unforeseen big expenses, and provided we keep our eyes on the ball, we should be fine this month. This weekend will bring me £50 from assorted mystery shops/surveys/matched bets which is fine....nothing paid very much, but it has all added up. If I can try and concentrate on that sort of thing a bit more over the coming months, then it will give me a reasonable savings cushion to fall back on.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I'm very pleased, WHDFW, because since OH left, I have managed on a much reduced budget, being disciplined and making the necessary changes, and have even managed the one off stuff like the car insurance, and the legal fees, without resorting to debt.
In fact, if I were still working on my "old" signature, it would show my debt at £18096. That means, that my debt has still reduced, even allowing for the extra costs. I was expecting it to increase slightly, due to the fees etc eating into my "debt pot" but in fact I reckon I have just about managed to scrape it all together without having to resort to that.
It certainly gives me the confidence to carry on. Very tight, of course, but certainly doable with the usual MSE effort, and that is a pretty good state of affairs, all things considered.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. You should be pleased you have done so well given the emotional rollercoaster you've been on. It would have been easy to say s*d it but you've keep control and as you say it will be tight at times but you will come out from under this debt and we'll all be supporting you on the way.Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0

That is absolutely fantastic to hear Hypno.I'm so pleased for you.
Sorry to hear that the bed didn't bring you loads of sleep but it will probably take a few days to get used to.0 -
Thanks taxi - of course, the debt hasn't gone down as much as I would like - and still may increase before we are through all this, but it is, at least, going in the right direction, even if it is at a slower rate of knots, which is to be expected I suppose.
I look forward to being able to do proper figures soon. Then I really will know where I am and where I am heading!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
