Hope you have a good one too Hypno. Sorry to hear the bed is not working out :(

My sister in the States used to have what she called an eggcrate, which is like a foam mattress topper in eggbox formation. Don't know if you can get them here, but she swears by them.....x

I did think (in the middle of the night) that a mattress topper might be the way forward. I will investigate further.....!

10ps only on the scratches, but that took me up to payout on one, so I have requested £10 which I hope will arrive by the end of the week.

Other than that, nothing in the banking to report. 2 weeks to payday, so half way through the month, but strangely enough, more than half way through the money!!

Mattress toppers are fab, worth paying out for a couple of inches of memory foam but until then a spare duvet under the sheet will work wonders.

With using rental cottages a lot, we've used a spare duvet under the base sheet too, it makes the mattress feel a little softer (some are pretty bad), but it also makes the bed feel a lot warmer too.

We've got an 'egg crate' on our bed and it definately makes a difference! MiL gave us ours, not sure where she got it from though. I would LOVE a feather bed topper, but can't justify spending all that money! But as Pooky and se have said, a spare duvet underneath would do the trick for now :)

Sorry to hear you didn't have a good night's sleep. I would imagine a lot of it is to do with the complete emotional upheaval you have been through and the lack of a bed to sleep on has knocked any semblance of a routine you may have had.

Hope you have a good day today and your lack of sleep doesn't catch up with you too much.
