Enjoy your skiing time this evening Hypno, I'm sure it will be great once you get there. You are doing amazingly well coping with everything. I just wanted to remind you that whilst I still lurk more than post I (like many others I'm sure) still think about you every day and always read your diary as part of my daily routine.

I've paid up for 6 months at NUTRACHECK (where you can have a free 5 day trial to any interested DFWers ), which is similar to WW.
I have wobbled off the wagon, so today pledged to get right back on as I am less than 6 months until I'm 40 and want to be in shape by then.

I'm a stone heavier than I was when I got married, but ideally would like to lose 1.5st - so I'll join you on the flab free journey if that's ok?

Of course it is ok, macgirl! I've done ok today.....about to go and make some supper, and will be nicely at my points level for the day then. I'm going to make a nice salad for tomorrow's lunch.....smoked salmon I think (hurrah for 88p smoked salmon trimmings from Mr T!)

Well mine starts tomorrow

Today I went to a leaving lunch and had pizza (:o), some Thorntons Mini Shortcake squares - which are the closest thing to Heaven - they are GORGEOUS (86 cals each) and I've just had a cheese sandwich for tea and a couple of squares of dark choc - so yes, tomorrow is a new diet day!

Good luck with it everyone - by the Summer we'll all be gorgeous :j

I started my diet today as well...not following a plan for now..I'm just going to use portion control and more exercise and see where I get with that otherwise back to WW or SW.

Instead of focussing on weight - why don't you focus on size? I.e. choose what you want to fit into and go for that?

If you start skiing again, your density will increase - especially in the thigh area. Bad news is that parts of you will weight more - good news is those parts will slink more...

And no crash diets - they're not sustainable. Healthy eating is the key. Perhaps if you can just cut the crap and increase the good stuff and see where that takes you?
