Yep, I hear ya SS, no matter how many times friends say "but your legs are skinny" (they're not), being congratulated on being PG when you're not, is the worst

More than that though, it's not good to carry fat around the middle, that's what motivates me. Oooh, I'm liking this slimming solidarity

I am too part of the "asking people when they are due when said person is not pregnant" :o:o It was awful, the more I apologised the bigger the hole got.

I have been to pilates today and think I will have the most painful stomach muscles in the world tomorrow - never knew how little stomach movements just killed!

Well, I have blown the cobwebs away, and will have some lovely bruises on my arms where I have been whipped by slalom poles as I attempted to look as though I should be in Vancouver right now My stomach muscles are being reminded that good skiing is not all about the thighs, but also about the "core".......so the old gymball will be coming out in order to strengthen those over the coming weeks!

I am glad I went - and will def go again. Not next week, because most of the group I am in are going out on snow, but def the week after.

Just having a coffee to warm myself up, then hopefully the fresh air will help me sleep a bit more tonight.

Have made £4.92 on a matched bet this evening - all helps!

Im the opposite, recently saw a friend after a few years and she had always been a bit on the "chunky" side but she was much bigger. I wondered if she was pregnant but was too scared to ask until she mentioned shopping for a car seat and I casually asked if she was pregnant.
She just replied completely unimpressed, pointed to her stomach and said "Im eight months gone - not just fat!" Oops

Great to hear skiing went well Hypno! Sounds like you're having a bit of a rebirth at the moment :T It's all good!

Sorry to sound dim, but where do they ski on snow - abroad or on real snow/artificial slopes?

As for Vancouver, who wouldn't want to be there right now? Rated best city in the World to live - yes please *sigh*

Am very tired this morning, as I didn't sleep well at all last night - I think I will struggle a bit through work today, and then I have parents evening for DS straight after work.

The skiing sounded great...and seems to have really perked you up.So sorry that you didn't sleep well though.I was so hoping that it would help you to.

I have about 9 stone to lose so will be weight busting as long as debt busting at this rate.
My DH has also had that embarrasssing moment by basking when its due..he only did it once hewas so embarrassed...lol
