As Macgirl say definately seems a rebirth, I know not by choice, but you are making more of a life for yourself and doing things for you than you would have done. Yes the DFW date has changed but once you get the mortgage sorted you'll be back with the squares and challenges.

Surfbabe - hope today goes as well as it can, x

Morning Hypno, sorry to hear you didn't sleep. Perhaps over time, now have introduced the new regime, that will just sort itself out without too much attention.....

Hope you manage to get through today, take care xx

Hypno - how great that you went skiing, but bummer your sleep didn't improve. I had a *dreadful* sleep too - the kind where you're so bored at not sleeping, its a *good* thing to see dawn finally breaking :(

ah yes, I know that feeling well! I am trying really hard not to get up and do things like have coffee, watch telly, until my "normal" wake up time of 6am - so I am trying to keep the sleep habit, even if the sleep bit is not always happening as much as I would like!

I am sleeping better than I was a few weeks ago, so things are settling down slowly, but I still feel like pants the next day!

    Good morning Hypno & friends,

Only 55p on scratchies this morning, but better than nothing.

Mixed time here, going to hopefully meet youngest DS again tonight. Enjoying going to the theatre after not having cash to treat ourselves for years. But spoilt a bit by purse pickpocketed from handbag either in the queue for the discount booth in Leicester Square or just outside the tube station there. Cards all cancelled, but I think over £100 in cash & vouchers gone, and still got to notify some places that loyalty and other cards have gone and got to arrange replacements, fortunately a lot of stuff was in the hotel safe.

Anyway, 'Woman in black' was OK, 'Les Mis' was classic west end production amazing set & singers, just prefer it when nearly everybody doesn't die, Highlight so far was 'The Thirty Nine Steps', brilliant if you are into the classic Hitchcock film, but I think you'd find it fun anyway, cast of 4 play all the parts, really entertaining.

Diet & yoga, on the back burner until back in Switzerland, the free hotel food & wine is a bit too irresistable!!!

May try to see another discount ticket play, but think I'm going down with a winter cold/flu bug, so may not be up to it.

Hope you're not too stiff from the skiing Hypno.

Se, you poor thing - a theft and a bug! I hope you can cope.

Hypno, commiserations that you have that kind of sleep too. I think I'm going to knock myself out tonight with nytol-alike, and hope I sleep through.

Have a good one - mind you, if you've got educational stuff for DS, its another busy one for you.

Oh se, I am sorry to read about the theft and also not feeling well. Still, it sounds as though you have been using your time here well, and I hope that you manage to get some more theatre trips in while you are over here.

I am a bit stiff across my shoulders from skiing - it is my "weak spot" since my accident, and needs to be strengthened - but the yoga is helping that and I will hopefully soon be nice and strong

Yikes, could have bumped in to you SE, I saw Woman in Black at weekend, thought it was superb but nearly pooed my pants :o, v scary. Les Mis is my favourite, but you're right about the dying :). I cry every time I hear a tune from it :o. I really fancy Cat on a Hot Tin Roof but it will be finished by the time I do anything about it (insert banned rolled eyes smiley).

Hypno, maybe you should give the shop a little reindeer sooner rather than later ;)

Surfbabe - thinking about you and your family x
