This will hopefully work three ways -
    1. I will be motivated to lose weight because I get a reward
    2. I have to stick to my budgets to make sure I can afford said shoes
    3. I start to look and feel less frumpy as I start to buy beautiful things
    :):):)

I'm doing WW hypno so I'll help you along! I find if I reward myself every step of the way I don't feel like I'm missing out.....plus if you have one bad day don't write off the whole week, it's never as bad as you think (I've been doing WW on and off for about 2 years so I have all the motivational support for everyone but need my Mum to motivate me!!!)

Keep up the good work and I can give you plenty of recipes or tips if you want/need them!!!

  • I always lurk, but shall be watching your weight loss with interest. I am trying to lose a similar amount of weight, from a similar starting point - although I am only 5ft2 so I resemble a small barrel. Good luck with it! I definately agree that losing weight isnt an answer in itself, but as you feel better, healthier and like what you see in the mirror, it does knock on to other areas of your life and improve your self confidence and self esteem.

Good luck with it all hypno. I really admire you for how you have picked yourself up after such a huge shock and hope that you find peace xx

I am loving WW Hypno and it's very family friendly - DS gets much the same as me but a few extra potatoes/protein, we are both eating lots of veg and eating the same healthy snacks (albeit sparingly in my case;)).

I've done WW before, quite successfully and am more than happy with working it in with the children/work etc.......my struggle will be with my own motivation, whether my head is in the right place, what other stresses are going on in life - I have a habit of reaching for the sugar when really I should go for a walk around the block, or for a run instead :o

I do quite like cooking, I just pretend I don't have time to.....and there are loads of WW recipes that I am more than happy to revisit :)

Tonight the children are having pizza because DS has an options evening to go to with his Dad, and he will be gone before I get home, but I will have a mushroom omelette with salad before I head out to ski.....having already had my spag bol for my lunch.

  • Totally sympathise on the choccie front!

I thought I was bad until friend came round and she couldn't understand that I still have chocs left from Christmas. Once she opens a box she can't stop until they've all gone, and then she moves on to the next box etc. She eats on average 3 bars of choc a day - and is a size 12 (skinny cow:D)
I used to do the 'core plan' at WW so you ate lots of certain things, so a bit like GI.

My brother persuaded me to go for a 'run' with him. Well he ran, I fast walked round the park, while he did the same route twice. Enjoy your skiing.
