Hypno, I'm so glad you've had such a good time with your friends.
And surfbabe, its so difficult to imagine what this delay has been like for you, even tho my dad had a slow decline.... I'll be thinking of you.
A good evening and good night to all

Hypno I know your budget is very tight now with taking on the mortgage on your own but I was just wondering if it was worth/doable to put in a figure for socialising?
The reason I say this is after being part of a couple for years its easy to stop paying for social times when you have debt and children that come first but now you are newly single I am sure that you and your friends will make more of an effort to meet up etc and I personally think that its important that you do as its a important 'release'. Its shown itself already as you have been for a meal with friends and also to your friends this weekend.
So maybe its time you put in a budget for YOU, even if the budget only allows for a small amount. I hope that makes sense.0 -
Hypno - I have one thing to say WOW!
I've just read your entire diary and I must say you are a true inspiration. You are a strong independent woman who seems to take adversity in your stride.
I have now subscribed and am looking forward to the next instalment already.....:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -
I'm so pleased that you have had a good weekend and that OH picked the kids up for you.
The night away seems to have done you a world of good.
It's great that your budget has stood up as well...you are such an inspiration.
Surfbabe am glad your family is over with you and will be thinking of you on thursday xx0 -
Princessleah - I am sorry - you will never get back the time that you have lost in reading my diary......I hope you don't suffer long term effects as a result :rotfl:
KM, what you say makes perfect sense - I will try and work out a suitable amount to allow for "social" and add it to the SOA.

thanks taxi - another poor nights sleep means I will be doing only what I have to do again today.......once I am home from skiing at lunchtime, I will do a bit of housework, but that will be about it.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. sorry to hear about your lack of sleep I've been up all night too x0

I guessed that you had, taxi, by the timing of your posts - it is no fun is it! I am trying to still go to bed at a normal time, and not to get up when I am awake, but to stay in bed without the telly or the laptop on etc, to try and maintain some sort of sleep routine, even if the actual sleep bit is evading me.
20p on one of the scratches this morning - thats as good as it has been for a while.....slowly, slowly!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
