Bubble & Squeak, I can cope with.
Curried sprouts, I can't :rotfl:
It's other people I'm thinking of. The backblast from curried sprouts would be quite impressive. You'd have to extinguish all naked flames..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Tinned sprouts.......it's true. You really do learn something new every day.
Please share your Quinoa recipe Se! I've got a couple of boxes in the cupboard but find it very uninspiring......0 -

You'd have to be careful of sources of ignition. You could lose part of the street if you're not careful. Since it's the part of the street with you in it, that wouldn't be good..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Recipe was something I made up after OH had quinoa in a hotel restaurant with lamb.
Main thing is get the amount of water right.
For two small servings I do half a cup of quinoa to a cup of water, add half a kallo org veg stock cube, bring to the boil, then simmer for 15 mins. Just before serving add a couple of spoons of natural yoghurt. It still looks a little gloopy, but it has a nice texture and taste. These are small servings, so I think you'd probably need to scale it up.
We normally have it with grilled meat, it would go well with fresh griddled tuna. Goes nicely with oven roasted med. veggies too. Not tried it with anything else yet.0 -
I've got roast veggies in the freezer and will be having them with couscous later in the week, I expect......
Right - having done nothing flylady-esque this week, I have to catch up, so have made a start on the kitchen - looking much better already. Will do the kitchen floor and then work on the lounge and the hall......when that is done, I intend to do my yoga dvd.......
