If only I looked as good as Nigella.........

Isn't she married to one of the Saatchi millionaire brothers with those funds I assume anyone can look good. I assume the makeup artists and hairdressers help too when filming.

Tinned brussels sprouts? Ye gods, whatever next? I bet Nigella doesn't serve tinned sprouts at dinner.

Nor do I, which is why there is an unopened tin at the back of my cupboard!!

Can I ask the obvious question, why did you buy it?

I didn't know there were *ever* any brussels sprouts that got tinned :rotfl: you used to say about doing the shopping yourself because lots of different stuff crept into the basket otherwise.... and I think we're seeing the results here :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: never mind, Hypno, there must be some vitamins and micronutrients left in them

They must be really mushy and squidgy, the only thing I could think of using them in would be to make some bubble & squeak potato cakes.

I didn't! And I object to the implication that I might have done so :rotfl:

OH used to bring home tins from a friends house, when they bought things that they didn't want......why he thought I would want some of them, I don't know....but occasionally he brought home biscuits and other things nicer than tinned brussels......

You could always mush up the tinned sprouts in a curry, plenty of fibre there!

Bubble & Squeak, I can cope with.

    Curried sprouts, I can't :rotfl:

My odds & ends are normally 'healthy' things to try, and then you grab your normal things instead, and it sits in the cupboard.

Latest success of the pre-christmas clear out was finding a nice quick way of using quinoa, actually got to buy some more now. Still got a packet of amaranth to try, will have to google to find ways to use it.
