Can't really add anything to whats already been said Hypno, I just wish there was some way we could turn our collective anger and support into Hellifax actions!!

Hi Hypno..just coming late to this and only just reading what a carp month its been for you. As others have said you're a MSE stalwart and you will get through this. Importantly, too, your kids will as well.
Take care and remember ' me, me, me, me...' whenever you can. Ask for help from people, friends etc and give yourself space to scream with rage whenever you need to. Its so unfair.MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

I feel like starting a petition:
"Oi, you, yes you, Hellifax, you are giving our friend Hypno (no, that's not her real name, and no, I don't know it, but that's not the point) an unnecessarily hard time and we aren't having it, so give her what she wants (and should rightfully have if you lot weren't such a pile of greedy pigs with your noses in the trough, except even swine would raise their porcine eyebrows at that comparison), else those of us who have Hellifax accounts will move to other banks, and those of us who don't have them will promise wholeheartedly never to get any.
You have been warned. We are angry.

Hi Hypno,
Not been on here long, but just wanted to send lots of hugs and wish you all the best. Sometimes these things are hell, but they make us the people that others admire. I went through hell with an ex, had to sell the house and move back home. You don't know how you are going to get through it at the time, and looking back, you don't know how you did, but somehow you do, and you come through the other side, and it gives you (woman) balls!! It makes you fight for what you believe is right and is due to you. Believe me, I wouldn't say a word to people before my experience, now people say that they can't believe how confident I am, and wish they were as confident as me. I won't be walked over and If I think something is wrong I fight my corner.
Those kids have a brilliant role model. You keep it up!
Best wishes
Thrifty xx

It's just so pants.....I don't WANT students again, I don't WANT to be struggling and having to think about camping or housesitting being our options for holidays.
I was supposed to be debt free in just a few short months.....I was supposed to be thinking about a fab holiday for us, for a change, I was supposed to be able to start enjoying life rather than struggling through from day to day.
But someone, who I thought wanted all the same things, had different ideas.
The title of this diary, I thought, reflected the element of "selfishness" that I was hoping to introduce (in a positive way). How wrong I was
Hypno, Hi there, so sorry to hear of recent developments. Points I would want to raise and I hope are appropriate are these.
1. Its good to know what you dont want, to ascertain what you do want and then find the way to get what you do want!
2. The person you have demonstrated to be is the person that will be debt free v v soon, will not have to always struggle. This is just a blip.
3. More than ever you need to be selfish. Given recent changes of circumstance, this is more about you than ever. You are in charge of your future, your well being, your sanity, your children, your finances. you need to remember that you are doing so v well. You ARE doing so v well.
4. Time heals (most) things. I like to think this is true.
5. Just keep going. You have passed on some v wise advice to me since my LBM, and clearly Im not alone in offering support to you at this time. Lean on your MSE friends for now.
Keep positive Hypno! Take careMy debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)
