Hypno's "me, me, me, me, me," diary.....

It's not all about the decision though - I can work through it, like everything else. It's just the "having been put in that situation" that I am angry about, I suppose. OH walks away, and I'm left to deal with everything. That's the bit I suppose I am really upset about - the Halifax are a bank - what should I expect (!), but my husband of 20 years, the father of my two children.....well, I expected something different.
Take my earlier pah & pants and add a touch of !!!!!!!! for good measure.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

If they are basing the mortgage decision purely on loan to value then go after them 100%. If they are going on LTV now based on sole income, when the loans were given previously on joint income then I'm not really sure where that stands, maybe Lilo would be able to help.
Still carppy though. I think that is what 2010 is going to be remembered as. My mums best friend ended up single and has really made a fab life for herself, better than she would have ever had when married.

Lilo's got some *really* interesting points there - I hope you can find your route through them in the next few days, Hypno, it sounds like that could really help.
And what Z has said is true too (all of it!) Not just men, and the stuff on the previous pages too.
Damn, it really does seem like Halifax is trying to screw you over. I can't fully express on here how angry I am on your behalf. Thats not it either, but it'll have to do.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
yes pippajo, it is purely on LTV - everything else is fine. I could deal with it if they said I didn't earn enough, or that my bonuses couldn't be guaranteed, or that I was asking for too big a mortgage for a sole earner, or even that my credit rating was not good enough (I've been dealing with that one for so long that nothing surprises me!).
Anyway....tomorrow is another day.
Dragon - I snuck out to Costa Coffee and bought a latte with a triple shot.....and a chocolate twist pastry. I thought the occasion deserved it. Oh and the same for my colleague who puts up with me (and who also pays my wages).......and a big bag of haribo for my lunch.

Sorry Hypno, I'm sure your head must be spinning, as well as being exhausted.
What I meant to say was, get a coffee (or my new tipple - Baileys and Tia Maria), a nice cuddly blanket, as much chocolate as you can lay your hands on and just forget about everything - just for this evening.
Tomorrow is a new day and will be brighter. Things will be better soon ((((((massive hugs))))))) xx0 -
Sorry to hear about the bank H
. I can understand your feelings. You are so strong and positive and you've achieved so much. It's hanging on to the feeling thats its probably a better long term solution than a short term one no matter how it feels at this point.

I agree! Very glad you've treated yourself. Wow, a triple shot - I just *know* I'd be shaking if I drank that - my admiration for you is limitless!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I needed the triple shot to give me a fighting chance of getting through the day at work.
