That's one thing, I think, that is bothering me at the moment........not knowing what realistically I need to put in my budgets.

So, food, petrol, etc are complete unknowns right now, and it will take a month or two to get reasonable ideas of how much I am spending. Also, until the new mortgage is agreed I can't work on that figure in my SOA, I am still working with the old mortgage and loans.......I can guesstimate council tax, as everyone else will have to do as we await new bills for the next financial year, and water/gas/electric is all on direct debit with "fixed" monthly payments, so they are ok (although hopefully they will go down later in the year as it becomes apparent we are not using so much), but it is just that "up in the air" feeling, while everything settles itself down.

And as you know, that is a difficult position to be in when you are generally such a control freak :o

Hypno, not sure if its of any use to you, and I know it seems so trivial in the light of things but I wanted to try and keep things ticking along ... theres a thread on the grabbit board about lightspeed points. Most of the £10 vouchers on there cost about 1450 points, but the love to shop ones are only 912 points, therefore making your points go further. They can be used in loads of places (or sold on ebay) :)

Thanks benben, I do get a lot of lightspeed surveys, and manage to complete a reasonable amount of them but have always just sent the money straight to paypal.....I will investigate the vouchers, though, for the next batch of surveys I get. Thank you!

Hope tomorrow goes well, do try to schedule in some 'flop' times with nice movies etc , you're not taking in the calories so flopping in front of the TV is OK, especially with the lack of sleep.

Hubby is more the control freak than me :D

But our problem is we've not had anything but all inclusive rental house for a few years, so when we eventually find the dream/or near thing, we're by all accounts going to be in shellshock

I used to do a lot of lightspeed but stopped recently as got fed up of being screened out a good way into surveys - might give them another go and see if I last any longer.

Glad you are giving yourself some time off Hypno - although I suspect you'll be busy - take care

Just done 3 lightspeed surveys to the end - got screened out of 3 part way through. Last ones I did were in September so hopefully might begin to get a few more after a break from them.
