Hi hypno
I have been MIA for the last two weeks with family leaving and friends coming and going. So of course I was staggered to hear your news about your OH. It must be really hard on you both...
Surfbabe sorry to hear about your mum.
Shaun hope your dad is ok
take care
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Oh Hypno, Ive just spent an hour catching up on your diary. It seems such a shame when you seem to be so close to your ideals. Still everyone is right here and you will get through, you have been so wonderfully supportive to everyone else and we're all here for you now.
Hope the sleep situation improves. I went through similar when my kids were very young and even though it was my decision my weight dropped and I didnt sleep much either. Decisions in life are sometimes so hard and is a grieving process. Sending you much love and hope things start to improve a little.Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Good morning Hypno & co, hope today is a fraction brighter in some way. Don't stress about the sleep, Hypno, just establish a regular routine - up at same time every day, to bed at same time every night, maybe read a bit before going to sleep(no TV or computer in bedroom, too stimulating!) and your sleep pattern will sort itself out in due course. Oh, and no caffeine in the evenings! And keep a firm eye on the offspring, to make sure they are coping ok and not going off the rails as some do. You'll get there, don't worry, and when you are out the other side you will be glad that you are where you are at that point.
Surfbabe - hang in there. Hard times I know, positive vibes from the DFW mob coming your way by the bucketload.
Pooky - well said! Sod the intact £20 note, as you say, sometimes life does need to be lived........if Hypno can have a month off scrimping and saving then why not the rest of us?
Shaun, wherever you are -- never tried hugging a sheep but here's a virtual one anyway. ((( )))One life - your life - live it!0 -
Thanks for all the hugs - have told all the important people including the kids who are in shock at the moment and both want to come home from Uni. Have told them they can't - is that awful? It is the later stages as she can't eat or drink.
Am going to be getting a car park pass for the hospital tomorrow. Brother is going today but he has MS which is starting to flair up under the stress.
Anyway - sorry to hear you didn;t get a good nights sleep Hypno - I'm sure you will eventually once you get into new routines etc.
Hugs all around and thanks for the support

Sold a book on amazon - after postage and fees I have made a profit of.......79p! Still, it is all money in the pot, and one less thing cluttering up the house.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Well thats my £20 gone! £2.20 for a birthday card and £10 gone in it (close friends lad who is 13) and £7.20 for my migraine prescription! I think that leaves me 60p which i'm going to spend on a newspaper for me so thats it i'm out!
Its snowing again here - thought we'd done with this weather.
Hypno, I sell quite a few bits on amazon with pennies profit but they all add up and as you say do wonders for decluttering the house
take care all, cgxCC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0 -

I hope work & school is getting easier for you & DS & DD.
Timed it right at the local supermarket and got loads of veg at half price (still ridiculous prices though), also some yummy speciality local swiss sausages at half price too, so the fridge's ice box is full of sausages
The local's don't seem to be into the reduced sections no one around at all, nothing like Tesco's back home where you have to wait to get through the crowd. I think we're starting to get recognised by the checkout assistants as the foreigners with ton's of 50% stickers
Hopefully this will impact on this month's food budget.
Slightly disappointed, we've had nothing back with freebie coupons yet after joining the supermarket loyalty scheme, well maybe I filled the form in wrong, it was in German0 -
Well, that's me done for this week - I am now off for a couple of days, and I hope to catch up with flylady, and start to make this space nice to come home to for us all in the evenings. I am also hoping that the valuation can be done for the transfer of the mortgage, so must give them a call first thing tomorrow to see if they can come round while I am off. And of course I have my m/s to do on Friday.....every little helps in the quest to stay solvent.
I've managed a NSD today (apart from Amazon postage, which doesn't count, because I that is paid by the buyer) and my £20 is still intact.
Hope you are all well xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
