  • Oh Hypno.

I haven't read in ages, been doing extras at work (in the name of Egg removal) and not had time to read the diaries. I am stunned. really really stunned. And I can't imagine how far beyond stunned you were when he said.

You have been so dignified and decent about it all, you are impressive. I think I would have had bin liners and broken plates and loud shouty voices. I guess with your kids tho it had to be different. You are incrediable. honestly.

You are my thoughts love honestly you mean so much to so many of us, we all love you.

Oh Hypno, I have just logged on and caught up. I think you are amazing to have kept this to yourself (hope you had a friend/someone you could talk to a little) and you are brilliant to be able to be supportive to OH with your organization.

When my Dad died, and this is a form of bereavement, we used a verse written by Joyce Grenfell which felt a bit appropriate (I hope not too twee):
    Weep if you must,
    Parting is hell,
    But life goes on,
    So sing as well.

And while you are being so strong for everyone else please be kind to yourself.

Poisitive thoughts and virtual chocolate being beamed to you,

    Maggie

Maggie, I love that verse, thank you very much!

Walshy - there was no need to remove the drunken post! Honestly you daft so and so you!

I've just ordered new beds for DD and for myself - via quidco of course, but they won't be here for a while, so I have time to sort out and decorate if I so feel like it.

I need to run the hoover round - all the furniture removal has unearthed a huge amount of dust everywhere :o and I can then start taking stock of things.

I went to Morrisons, and spent just over £100 but have got enough meat and stuff for two weeks, so hopefully will just need milk and fruit before I have to do a big shop again.

    Onwards.......
