Oh lucielle, I am sorry you have been kept awake! I slept until 2 then woke, getting back to sleep at 3.45......only to be woken by the phone at 4  By that time, knowing the alarm goes off at 6 for paper rounds, I more or less gave up.

Today I need to go shopping for beds for me and for DD.....well, I say shopping - I will go and look, but will then order online via quidco as the cashback is quite good for most furniture places. I also need to do a supermarket shop because we have been living out of the cupboards for the last few weeks (and done very well at it too, I hasten to add).

My budgets need checking, because the mortgage won't complete until later in the month, so February will see me making the normal loan repayments which will eat into my cash somewhat, but it is unavoidable so must just work with it.

First I will scratch - my MSE money will reduce somewhat because I use accounts in OH name too.......but something is still better than nothing.

Thank you for all your kind messages last night - they really do mean a lot xxx

    Good morning Hypno,

Hope today is a good day for you all, and that the bed shopping goes well. It's a pity about the 6am alarm for the paper rounds though.

Hope the budgetting goes smoothly, we did ours yesterday, as we weren't planning to spend today.

    Morning Hypno,:hello:

I read your posts every day without fail, and have always been in awe at your determination and unfailing cheerfulness in getting rid of the debt.! So it was obvious that you were going through some personal trauma by your lack of posts. I couldn't just keep reading and lurking without telling you what a brilliant person you are. :T I am 20 years older than you and have been married for nearly 40 years, but when my debt busting gets me down,:mad:I know that by reading your diary I will be motivated again. ;)

I don't want to be unfair to your OH,'cos obviously we don't know him, but it seems to me that he doesn't realize who/what a wonderful person he has given up.! You are doing a wonderful job with your children and I wouldn't expect anything less from you. I am sure that you will come through it eventually, and you have absolutely wonderful friends on here who care about you, that's obvious by the amount of posters offering their support, so take it......don't try to do everything. We know that you are wonder woman, :A but even she needs help sometimes.

Good luck .........elsie slinks back into lurker mode.:o

You are right, elsie, I have some wonderful friends on here who will see me through this, just as they have seen me through the darkest debt days in the past.

This site is a wonderful place - and without it, I would be in a far poorer situation than the one I am in now. On so many levels, not just financially.

So, again, thank you all :A

Morning Hypno, I hope the day finds you well.

I have to say I'm loving all the weight loss stories - I'm starting to see DH in a whole new light! :D
I did laugh at Shaun's post - life begins at 40 (I'm thinking "Yes" to that one ;)) and with 2 more kids!! :rotfl: Can you imagine.....

1st of the month tomorrow, so a new day and a bright new chapter in store for you :A

I can safely say that I will NOT be having more children......my two are more than enough for me. My childbearing days are well and truly behind me......FACT!

But YES, life begins at 40......I'm a bit peeved (to say the least) that after all my positivity about starting a new decade, I have had such a crappy start to the year, but I will just have to start my decade a month late.

You will be 40 for a whole 12 months, so it doesn't matter when the party starts :)

I think we put too much pressure on ourselves around dates which are not really set in stone. After the crappy start, I think you will find this will be your best decade yet!
Keep being positive and positive things will happen x
