    Morning Hypno!

Inspired by your lovely self the other day, I have a shiny £20 note in my purse ready for February :rotfl: I made a special trip to the bank for it as well :D

Remember that you are entirely allowed to stuff some cakes into the trolley when you're at the shops, the current situation demands it.

    *hugs*

You can tell things are bad, FF, over the last couple of weeks, the only sweet thing I have had is one kitkat, and that made me sick.........I am a long way from recovered yet!!

Yes, I'm going to get my £20 out later - I'm not expecting to win though, there are some formidable challengers out there - the OP being No:1 :o

    No emergency jaffa cakes either......

But I fully intend to get out for a run again soon - I do need the headspace.

Morning, I shall lurk no longer :o. I have a major flaw - I dont like Jaffa cakes, I know I need help :p.

January is always a carp month anyway. We started the year with a family overdose (luckily it didnt work). Febs and new start so I'm in for the £20 if you don't mind me joining.

Onwards and upwards, "here come the girls" lalalalal........... plus Shaun (morning, long time no speak!) Z and Walshy before I get lynched.

You will be 40 for a whole 12 months, so it doesn't matter when the party starts :)

    Thats a good point.

    And so's this....

I'm sorry the sleep was so bad, Hypno. Having a run, and even bed-shopping, could certainly take your mind off things. I hope today isn't too terrible.

    Dear Hypno,
I was so sorry to read your news. I have read your diaries for some time And I always found you inspirational. The practical and strong side of you has dealt with the practicalities. Make sure you don't forget to look after the emotional side - it's not just teenagers who are allowed tears and tantrums.
You are right about this site too - it is a wonderful source of support.
I have had my own sad news this week which I should post on my diary. Maybe we can support each other.
    Take care of you

Things are ok - we are all being very grown up about it, which helps. The children are amazing, and DS has gone to help OH re-assemble furniture at the flat. DD is packing things up here ready to take in the next load. There is no "attitude" from anyone, it is just a job that needs to be done, and it is being done well. For that OH and I are both very grateful.

As I said before, I am under no illusions - there will be crappy stuff still to come from all quarters, but right now, I am glad that things are not as bad as we feared they could have been.

DD and I will be off soon to go bed-shopping, and then to Tescos with our new streamlined-budget-for-three and a friend has asked me for coffee later, which I will take her up on.
