I'm ok taxi - just nothing that needs saying right now!

Payday today (hurrah!), sleeping still poor (boo), and life still going on! I managed another NSD yesterday, so that all helps.

sadly, I think I do But it will pass.

I have, however, heard from DS who rang me yesterday after his race to say that he had done really well - he is obviously enjoying himself, and it was lovely to hear him sound so excited. He is racing again today, so I hope that he has an equally good day, although I think the discipline today is not his best.

Sorry to hear the sleep is still a problem.

Nice to hear that your DS is doing well, and enjoying himself, my two never communicated a lot when they were away either, maybe it's another boy/male thing?

Mine tended to do the 'required' call to say they'd arrived safely, then another from the airport just before they got on the plane to come back to let me know they were on their way!! So you're doing well to get one in the middle

Just done scratchies. More organised here with the shopping, now found the reduced section for the fruit & veg too, so food shopping costs are gradually reducing, but everything is still horrifically overpriced!!

I don't hear much from either DD or DS when they are away - I don't think it is a "boy" thing, just a "I'm having suuuuuuuch a good time I've forgotten I've got parents" thing :cool:

I'm glad you are finding your way round the more reasonably priced fruit and veg etc. I need to do a meal plan as we have been eating out of the cupboards a lot this month, and I need to go into February more organised than I have ever been before......and that means meal plans and shopping lists!

baby just spilt coffee over the key board and table,,and whilst i was cleaning that up..he spilt 3 yogs on the kitchen floor and feed the cat 4 slices of cheese,,,,,HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!

Morning H, Friday today thank goodness!

Won £5 on the scratchcards today and been able to withdraw £10 to the debt pot which is fab. Thank you for all the info on that. Just need to get OH to sign up now!

Morning - shopping list........... mmmm must do one too!!!

Not much going on , DD & DS at Uni - (and they only ever communicate when away to say they have arrived and what time they need picking up when getting back - away as in on holiday, camp etc) - speak to them on FB more often than not.

Serious concerns over my Mum which as you know has been going on for 18 months but i have finally got to the place in my own head which says that I can only do so much and what will be will be and I can't change it.

Anyway better go to work and catch up on some of the time I'm having to take off.

surfbabe, sorry to read that you have so much to deal with still, but as you say, there is only so much that you can do, and despite wanting to be able to do more, and to put everything right, sometimes what we do has to be good enough. Take care of yourself x
