Current and new o2 tarrifs (merged)
Options
If your hunting around for a new deal o2 retail stores will only be able to do the 02 500 tarriff (750 xnet mins and 100 messages for £35 until the end of this month
From there a new set of tarrifs are gonna launch
The new tarrifs will start at £20 per month and will only be 1 off peak tarriff
On the whole more mins will be included but the best thing will be something called "Long Weekend Calls"
Meaning if your on a tariff on £35 per month or more youll get 2000 mins of calls to make on any Saturday, Sunday or Monday free, wont come out of your allowance on the tarrif you take, so the £35 tarrif or higher you take will only have to cover you for 4 days of calls a week effectivly.
Ill get more specifics if required only saw it all quickly last nite

Ok here goes, 18mts to begin
Anytime Mins Messages
£20 75 25
£25 200 100
£30 400 100
£35 600 100
£40 800 100
£50 1100 100
£70 1500 100
Those above are anytime any net mins
£25 1500 anynet off peak mins and 100 msgs
Ok so onto the 12 month contracts
Anytime mins Messages
£20 50 25
£25 125 100
£30 250 100
£35 400 100
£40 500 100
£50 700 100
£70 1000 100
Those again are anytime and net mins and messages
£25 1000 anynet off peak with 100 msgs
So on the whole £5 reduction on tarrifs and extra mins all round really, doesnt change anything unless your signing a new or upgraded contract after 13th July
Free Long Weekend Mins are for £35 tarrifs and higher, 2000 mins a month under fair usage policy and from 12.01am Saturday thru Sunday and Monday, if you take a 18 month contact you get the Long Weekend Calls for life, if you take a 12 month contract its for 6 months only
Long weekend will be avalable for pay and go , will be 500 mins per month as long as you top up £10 a month or more0 -
Are the Free Long Weekend Mins X Network or just O2 / Landline?
Can you confirm?0 -
Do the inclusive minutes still allow calls to non-geographic numbers? I know it sounds very sceptical, but offering more minutes overall probably has some other catches (like perhaps no more rollover)0
-
Again ill double check to be sure but the long weekend mins are im sure xnet and geographical landline nos
Not 0870, 0800 etc
Rollover is for 1mth on £35+ and freevoicemail and ITS services are free on £35+ too, so downside is used to be £30 a month for free voicemail, rollover ITS etc now its £35 but you get long weekends
The non geographical numbers calling on o2 stops on the 1st July as per the recent change in the terms and conditions, so they wont be incl full stop but for uk xnet and landline its a good deal i think0 -

This is news to me (but then again I live on the channel islands!!)
I was not aware that o2 were removing inclusive bundle usage on non-geographic (i.e. 0870, 0845, etc) numbers. Will this also apply to old tariffs?"An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0 -
Do you know when they come into play (the tarrifs that is!) suityou69?0

Tarrriffs sound really good - dont quite match upto flext i think e.g. £35 a month 850 mins and 100 texts - but they beat oranges core tarriffs without the extrasYes Your Dukeiness0 -

Where is this information coming from that 0845/0870/0800 Non Geographical will not be included in the inclusive mins.
Suityou69 do you work for O2?0 -
UK Fixed Line Calls include calls made in the UK to standard UK Fixed-Line Numbers, voicemail menu access and retrieval, fax calls, and calls to free phone, local rate and national rate numbers (0845 and 0870). On O2 200, 250, 400, 600 and O2 Max voicemail menu access and retrieval is free and not decremented as part of your inclusive minutes. Inclusive minutes include UK Fixed Line Calls, WAP over GSM data calls, calls to O2 mobiles and calls to other UK mobiles (cross network). From July 1 2006, inclusive minutes exclude all calls to 07744 and 07755 numbers, these calls will be charged 25p per minute at all times.0
