  • 5 working days gone, no cheque. Roll on next week...
  • Still no cheque here too ..
Think u can say it will not turn up at all ..
  • Phoned them again yesterday, as still waiting for 1 wii game and 1 psp game. The woman said that I had been refunded for these, I said I hadn't and I didn't want a refund I want the games!!! After alot of 'oh yes we haves' and 'oh no you haven'ts'

She said "well you have been refunded the £15 we owe you and we can prove that, now I don't like the tone of your voice" then hung up!!!!!

I am fuming with them now, I can prove that the money has not gone back into my account, and also the 2 games were more than £15!!!!!
Not sure what more I can do now?
Will update trading standards today, and see what they advise.

Will give them til 4.45 today then ring yet again !!!!

    Any progress?

I must admit that I'm having fun sending ever more terse emails back to them when they apologise for my lack of refund and that their management team are giving it urgent attention. I'm sure. But I've only [STRIKE]spent[/STRIKE] lost a small amount with them, so I'm quite happy to get my money's worth just winding them up. Ever so politely, of couse :)

If you've lost serious money with them, don't give up...

My pestering email back to them today:

While we're still waiting for a sensible reply from the management team, how about this idea? Let me know where your offices are and I'll drive over and pick up the money you owe me in person. I'm sure you have it in a petty cash drawer somewhere. And I won't even charge you for the petrol, that's how reasonable I am. Just a thought, as you can't manage to refund a card or post a cheque, but I'm sure I can make it there by car...

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Reckon they'll bother replying?

Have you tried a chargeback from your bank, let the bank chase them up, they will have far more success and wont be fobbed off by some "we have paid you already" script.

Just checked my card and as if by magic I have also been refunded (dated Friday, but only appeared on my statement today). What's going on there then - have they suddenly had a change of heart?

Either way, I won't be ordering through them again!
