I have my screen print of the argos site page confirming my order was despatched for del on the 31st. I now have my printed bank statement saying the payment was takenm on the 31st. And ive just gotten my tracking number and put it into the HDNL tracking service on there site and....

31/12/2009 18:14:00 BRISTOL DEPOT The parcel has been despatched from depot Proof the parcel was at the bristol depot and despatched via courior before being brought back/recalled to the depot and finally being despatched again which was back to argos I assume. Argos CS confirmed on the phone a few mins ago the package was ordered to be returned to them. But surely at a point when they no longer had the right to!!

was yor tracking number the argos ad number?

No it was different to the AD num which was the order number.

If there was a smiley on this site shaking its head and tutting and smirking, I would post that smiley about 10 times. The vendor will wriggle and squirm when it realises the error of its ways in that particular circumstance. There are issues of theft there, but we will not go there just yet

i had a phone order accepted, but they cancelled mne the following day, i just let it go, but after reading your advice i think i'll write them a letter with your law terminology heh

Yes, write a letter to them. You sit in the right category with that agreement.

Thats all I had to start with lol U can put the AD number into the argos order tracking link on its website ands itll say if its been despatched or what not. I phoned Argos customer services and asked them for the tracking number. Once you have it go to the HDNL website and put it into there online tracking service and itll tell you where ur package has been and gone.

just rang argos and got my tracking number ....... same here at depot then sent back....... but have printed proof now . cheers seems to me the way i read it item wason van . then called back to yard. then returned to argos that night!!!!!!!
