Just phoned argos.... was told this item is sold out this morning

It has just been taken off the website at 13.45, (I just printed it before it went, along with with the time) 3 hours after ordering. I will argue if they try and cancel mine. There was no reason to assume this wasn't a genuine sale item, said £70 off on the website, customer services didn't know anything about it, some people have bought it instore this morning, it was coming up as £79.99 on the check & reserve phoneline.

When I worked in retail (a long time ago) they had to honour the price it was displayed at.

I was referring to a comment that someone posted on HUKD about being phoned and told their order is cancelled. Up to now that's the only report so fingers crossed.

One person on here said they thought argos was phoning them so didnt answer lol, that would make 2 unless he's just a bit paranoid.;):D

Reserved one this morning, picked it up at manned till no problem, girl didnt even bat an eyelid, was last one in stock though, thanks op x

It looks like they rang him back immediately though. Hoping if you ordered a long time ago they will honour it. I have never been on HUDK before, there seems loads of people on there saying their Argos store let them pick it up this morning.

That is so weird, it is back on their website again!
