Not QUITE what I said and the real reason for my post was to say they are not obliged to sell before people feel all hard-done-by. Anyway, there IS a lot of copy/paste from HUKD here - I (rightly or wrongly) assumed this is one of them. My apologies to the OP if this is not the case here (no need for OP to be apologising, by the way, I agree); it's rare that the same deal appears on both Grabbit and HUKD where it hasn't been copied from the other. Thanks where it is due, that's all I am saying.

PS: lives are reduced on Argos - remember you read it here first.

just ordered one over the phone, home deliverey for tomorrow morning!
did have trouble, couldn't reserve or buy on line so phoned up.
1st guy said none in stock and couldn't reserve it, he advised me to phone back in a few days!!! heh
so i phoned straight back and the very nice lady processed my order with no trouble
so perservere is my advice!

tis my daughters birthday n jan so she'll be delighted if this comes, and so will i

Thanks for sharing. Another thing worth noting is some sales agents were saying only one unit per customer, whereas others were allowing multiple units to be purchased.

Looks like their customer services haven't been told then either! Maybe it isn't a glitch (she says hoping!). Have just checked my credit card and it has been processed.

if you type black dsi into argos website comes up as £97.98 and will go through not as good as £78 but still £50 saving ish!

I've just rung up twice, first time I was told it was out of stock, on the 2nd call I was told it had been taken "off sale" as it was incorrectly priced on the internet & no more orders would be accepted until the price had been corrected. Looks like they've picked up on it now. Damn!!

Hi, I can confirm all the above posts re colecting in store - just been to my 2 local argos stores. The first one said they had received a bulletin and acted upon it (I was 20 mins too late :mad:) . She siad that i could try another argos and its whether they have acted upon the memo or not! So if you have a half dozy manager you may still get one at the glitz. Unlucky for me my 2 are on the ball!!

Have you got the item number for this, cos when I try it, I only get the DS & not the DSi at that price??
