hiya all
Well, after getting the art of crochet today I decided to crack on as soon as kids in bed. Well, i found it a bit boring. Dont like squares!! So I looked on youtube and this is what I have spent the evening doing.
Please remember this is the first time I have crocheted for 20 years and I know he is not perfect but I think a pretty good attempt! i am quite chuffed with myself for him!0 -

Thanks nuttybabe. I'll have a go at that after my scarf.
By the way I honestly prefer your mouse to the one in the video!0 -

I might go radioactive green for my mouse. I have to find a use for that wool somehow! Why is it I get drawn to the brightest coloured wool in the shop but I always chicken out of using it? The scarf I'm making is the one from the magazing and I intended to use 4 lovely vivid shades of green and purple but in the end used black and 2 shades of grey. I was brave and am using a fairly bright magenta pink for the narrowest band though
So brave!:rolleyes:0 -

Does anyone else have this problem my eyes are all bleary and misty when I have spent 10 minutes or so working on the crochet, I don't understand why cause I spend all day looking at a PC screen with no problems!!
I'm having the same problem with the eyes, I guess it's cos it's a bit closer work than looking at pc screen. If I could actually manage to get past my first row of double crochet I might think it's worth it tho:rolleyes:. My mother always said I was cack handed so I'm really glad they thought to give us practise wool
Oh and hi everyone, I've lurked on on this board for ages but I think it's my first post here :j"Who’s that tripping over my bridge?" roared the Troll.
