hi Tirl - I have just tried to kick start my budget again this week as we had lost control.
Your BF sounds nice and supportiveAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Yeah, I've totally lost control of the budget. And it's all my fault. I've also used some of the car money that I said I wouldn't touch. I might use the rest now to pay more off s. loan so I can definitely get that out of the way this year.
My POA (not sure of the time scale)- burn some cd's onto laptop then musicmagpie them
- list the books on works intranet and gumtree
- see if I have anything to ebay
- sell the damn camera I've been hoarding for ages! (problem here is I don't know how much to ask, don't want to let them go too cheaply, but want some money out of them soonish!)

- declutter and organise my room
- reactivate amazon stock but check first I have everything

so haven't really gotten much done off that list. Have looked into what cd's to get rid of and atm it's only 10 and giving me £5 but I guess that's better than nothing. Now that I'm on spotify as well, don't really need the cd's either. Have started on the book list as well, just not put it on anywhere. Maybe I'll have time tonight to put some on gumtree though I'll be away for the weekend again.
And then I have some NEWS! I just can't not not tell anyone anymore...
We're talking about moving in together with BF!!! And it was his suggestion as well, though he did it in a bit of a funny way...
I don't really know what to think. Obviously I'm really happy and pleased, it's like everything's finally coming together and we do spend most of our time together either at his or mine so makes sense to get our own place. But it's also all happening quite quickly. Well, we'll see. My motto's always been Carpe Diem so of course I'm going to go for it! And I am ecstatic about it! He's such a cutie!DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

Great news TirlittanI am delighted for you. Your BF seems very keen, which must be lovely after your ex who couldn't commit at all. Have you heard from him at all lately?
I think you are right to just go for it. I am similar to you, if something feels right I trust my instincts and just go for it!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I guess that's the thing that is bit weird about this. The fact that I was with someone for 2 years who couldn't commit but had his own place and now after 3 months my new bf is ready to move in with me!
But it also feels very good! I just realised I've been living on my own/sharing a house but not living with anyone since 2005! Such a long time. Maybe my luck is finally turning; I hope so.
Yes, we email occasionally. I brought him a little souvenir from Finland (we did go there together to meet my family in 2008) but haven't had time to deliver it yet.
Also, my bf changed his relationship status on facebook after I said I wasn't too impressed him being single on there. My ex never did; he took his single status out but didn't put us as being in a relationship for 2 years. I'm so glad I finished it, but I never thought somehting better would come along so soon! Feel very lucky indeed!DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

Hi saving.
Well, nothing's gonna happen in a hurry. We've decided to wait at least till end of September cos we both need to pay some things off and we need to work out a reasonable budget and see what we can afford. THe idea is to move into a better place from where we both are now and not just move out of moving's sake. So we shall see how it pans out.
Unfortunately, I'm starting to get really fed up with my work. I really don't get on with my line manager and the rest of the people in the office aren't that inclusive either. Sometimes I feel totally the odd one out. Need to see what I can do about changing it for better.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

Your sig is looking so great Tir!!! I hope you stick around when it is paid off
Sorry you aren't enjoying your job at the moment. At least you sorted out your love life and your house. As I can recall, the job was the third thing. I think you have done so well already. Things will click into place eventually.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Thanks CMD.
Still a long way to go with debt though it is coming down regardless all the mess ups I make. You aren't doing badly yourself either!
Yes, job is the last one on the 'biggies' list so I have made progress on other fields which is nice.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

Thanks - little by little. I am not adding any at the moment, which is nice, and have managed to totally calm down on the internet shopping. I don't think I have full retrained my bad habits yet!
Sounds like a good idea to wait until you and BF have found somewhere nicer to liveTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
