I sold it for £500 last night. The first guy never turned up nor called, so I sold it to the lady though I got another desperate guy wanting it and offering a bit more, but I felt obliged to sell it to the lady cos I did say she could have it if the first guy didn't want it. Never mind. I never thought I'd get £500 for it, was going to be happy for £350 what I spent on it last time, so I'm happy. Will be funny without a car though...

Money from car will go to a savings account and it's 'not to be touched money'.

    Gosh, lot of changes recently...

That is great you sold the car, you will get used to not having it and at least you have the money.

Yeah, I will get used to not having a car, though I do think it'll limit my choices...Maybe when I get a better paid job I can start looking again.

As I said, lots of changes recently, now I have to try to adjust to them.

Have been off for a bit as started my 'new job' on Monday and been getting used to it. I have to cycle to work now so I'm doing near enough 8 miles a day, actually, after this, I will go and map it for accuracy.

Job is ok, ppl are ok, but I'm still not happy how they've handled the whole thing and will need to talk to someone in HR. All I've heard so far is that I'm supposed to be here for 6 months. I don't think anyone knows anything and they are not keeping me up to date either.

Been doing so much lately that yesterday when I went for a run with a mate, I just couldn't do the whole 4miles and had to stop after 2.5, my squads just felt so heavy. Today I'm having a day off though I might go for a refreshing walk and tomorrow I'll be taking it easy as well.

Good luck with sellling your car doodles!

Hi Tirl - very frustrating about work from the sound of it. Great news on the car sale. You must be really fit with the volleyball and cycling and everything

More good debt news. Have made the BT now, only £2280 transfered to Santander Zero card, but it's better than nothing and should save around £150 in interest. Will change sig now, but it might need tweeking when I get home.

That is great about the balance transfer, every bit helps and it's saving you some interest. I've started regretting paying off my 4 cards as now I'm back to having no money, wish I'd saved a couple of grand, oh well too late now. I have £500 in my Post Office ISA but might get that out and leave it in my bank so I have money there to pay my credit card bills coming up.

That is great you have someone to go running with and even better if he is cute and asked you to the cinema, even if it's only as friends at least you have someone to talk to and go out and about with.

Yes, it's difficult after you get money and you use it all to pay off debt and then realise it would've been nice to use some of it for something else.
