    Happy New Year to everyone!

    Thanks for popping in LexieLou.

Our wireless connection wasn't working over the weekend which was very frustrating, couldn't do my scratchies, check online banking nor come to MSE...:(

Made a long list of things to do yesterday and got a few of them done, will post the list on here to motivate me to finish it, if I can get online and send it.

My biggest goal atm is to find another place to live. I'm renting in a 5-share-house and though I really like the people and get on with them really well, they're messy, my room is tiny and after 3 years, it's time for a change. Unfortunately, I still can't afford to live on my own, and my bf is not ready for me to move in with him, so another house share it's going to be. It needs to be with less people though, max 3 including me, and I have to have a room where I can get into my bed from all 3 sides! And it has to be about the same price as what I'm paying now. Not sure if I can find this dream place, but I shall be looking and I want it in the first quarter of this year. It would make me so much happier.

Good luck with the hunt for a room. With the reduction in rent all over the UK is it possible to get a room on this budget? Hopefully it will! I know the people that rent from us asked for a rent reduction & they agreed to stay for another year. We said yes as it is great security knowing they won't be moving out til at least Oct 2010.

Ha ha, we're having a three thread conversation!:D

I hope it is possible. I started having a look last year, and it seems there are places for the same price. I just hope they're not too far from town.

The problem is, my landlord wants a calendar months notice. So if I want to move 1st of March, I'll need to hand in my notice end of this month! Don't think it's going to work like that though, probably for awhile, I need to pay two rents, which I can't really afford. :( The problem is, my room is small, and there's limited number of people who want to live like that. How did I ever manage 3 years in there??? Beats me...

No easy answers to that one Tirl - is there anyone you could live with/store your stuff with if you did have a gap?
