oh, progress on getting my room as I want it. Mate said I could have her king size duvet, but don't know when she's gonna come down and I wasn't in a hurry to go up there again.
Yes, should do dooyoo, just don't seem to have the time, same problem with bar job. When DF, I'd have £400 extra a month, but obviously budget would stretch a bit...The more I think about it, the more I realise I seriously need a better paid job. Only recently I actually realised what my take home pay is after tax and NI and realised I can't live on that...just never thought about in larger scale, just month to month...
I just bought a king-size duvet from Debenhams for £19.00 (- 20% off is about £15.40 - code isP3RP). It is a snuggledown one and I thought that was a good price.
To make about £20/30 a month on dooyoo would take about 1/2 an hour an evening between writing reviews, and rating others. You could even write your reviews when you aren't busy at work, and then post them up in the evening. I know you said you are busy but sometimes it is about making the time to do and the satisfaction of paying a bit more off debt every month. £400 extra to spend every month sounds good to me.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Thanks CMD. I spoke to my mate last night and she's coming over next week with the duvet and some bedlinen sets. She's just finally moved into her own house and wants everything nice and just so, so I get all the old things.
I will have a look into dooyoo again. I'm not sure if I ever signed up, but I did get a referral of someone on here.
Went to see my ex workmates last night, was good to catch up, but of course we ended up talking about my bf issues...no tears this time though.
Yes, £400 extra would be good, but it still wouldn't change my life a lot. When I'm DF free, I'd ideally like to save at least £300 as I don't have a pension atm. And then living on your own is much more expensive, and then all the holidays...:rotfl:so yeah, need to start looking at those jobs and quick!
Just ordered my credit report from equifax via quidco. Need to decide soon which card I'm going for.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

Its great that your friend is giving you all the bedlinen. I had to buy a kingsize duvet set last night and the price of them are unreal. We only have a double duvet ourselves but there is a huge price difference between the 2!
Did your ex-workmates give you some good advice about your BF? Hope the meal was nice. I went for a meal with my OH last night to a local gastropub. We hadn't been before and it was lovely. Need to reign in the spending though!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Yeah, she's been lovely to me, she knows my situation.
I do want to buy one 'nice' set for myself, found one I liked on amazon for £18 which I thought was a good price.
Yeah, my ex-workmates are lovely, get on with them really well and they know the situation re: bf. I think time for talking is after Ireland trip. Bf's going back home this weekend as his mum is in Ireland looking after her mum and his dad is on his own coping with the anniversary of his mum's death...I can't go as we have a match on Sunday, but I think it's even better so.
Really snowing here now, not sticking yet though, quite wet snow, but chucking it down!
I love good gastropubs, but I can't even think about going to eat somewhere like that. Went to Harvester last night with me mates...DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

£18 is brill for a king size duvet cover.
No sign of the snow here, and I don't want any either.
When is your trip to Ireland? It's great that your old workmates can be there to give you emotional support and advice.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Got 4 ebay listings ready for tonight, and many more to do. Couldn't do any last night as was at bf's, so need to get in gear when I get home. Finishing at 4 so should have plenty of time to take advantage of the free listing day.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0
