I'm hoping I can prove myself wrong and that they are just a new ebayer....I think with all the hype for christmas that is why I went for one so close to xmas.

Soolin, I have just replied askign them to either provide the tracking number or if she doesn't know what the number is to email me the pic of receipt.....I'm guessign the weight on the xbox should make it go by a trackable route.

I am kicking myself now and know I should have waited until after xmas.

OP, the console was sent yesterday according to your seller and via RM. That means it must have been sent special delivery which means delivery is guaranteed for today before 1pm (unless you are in the Scottish Highlands).

Please update us when box arrives. If it doesn't then tell us that please as you may thenhave to start being more proactive and less trusting.

Even then it will arrive the following day just not guaranteed before 1pm

Nothing as yet but I have onlyjust had normal post {didnt get yesterdays at all- even our bin men havent turned upfrom last week due to snow - but another matter}

I'm beginning to fear the worse here. confused_mum, you really must now push this much more than you have done, the longer you let this drift the harder it is going to be to get anything done about it. Phone the seller now, ask them outright for the tracking number, if they make any excuses then consider starting a formal line of reclaim against them. For instance a letter sent recorded as soon as you can get to the PO saying that as item has not arrived you request a full refund off all the monies paid by say, 5th January otherwise you will be taking legal steps to persue this matter.

I don't know your circumstances obviously, but I would certainly not be in a position to let this amount of money go without a fight, even if you are I would certainly be wanting to make things uncomfortable for the seller.

Start doing some research , make sure you have their full name and address properly recorded and gather as much other info about them as you can.

got quite a few of their details actually and going by another auction that has finished they advertised a landscape business.

I have been trying to get through to them but phone is constantly engaged....But I will keep trying I am not going to let this go.

Right \i dialled and after gettign through realise it is the wrong number.

I got through to seller who says dad sent parcel but he will be home at 6.30 so will be ringing back.

She sounds a bit of a numpty to me but she had the receipt and it says standard parcel and my address but didnt find a trackign number.

She did give me 1 number which was 3/followed by numbers does that make the right one as it doesnt seem right?
other than that I will try the web site to see if its right and will be ringing him about 6.30.

If they sent it standard parcels its not tracked and I would doubt it would arrive for a few more days.
