  • I eat my words, they arrived! I was one of the lucky ones apparently, they were 15 mins late but I won't complain, I am just happy to have some milk to give the youngest!

((Hugs)) and Get well' wishes to all those who need them.

Hope everyone is keeping warm and safe.

3 NSDs for me as it's difficult to get around at the moment and I don't really need anything. Having tea out tonight, so no cooking at home either. Will probably have a shop at my butchers tomorrow -depending on weather, but may have to wait until Saturday.

Off work again and a fantastic day with blue skies and twinkly snow! Decided to walk to the next village which is a mile and a half away, where they have a small Budgens. Our village shop had no papers or milk so I didn't feel too guilty taking my custom elsewhere!

Spent £7.01 on milk and fruit and veg(and a KitKat to sustain me for the walk back!) Sadly no papers though - DH is getting withdrawal symptoms!

Also popped into the surgery to pick up a prescription for DH and checked MIL's house as she is away- though not sure what I would have done if I had found a burst pipe! Roads were very slippy and though about a dozen or so cars passed me not one stopped to offer me a lift which I found a bit disappointing. Did meet up with another lady walking to the village to shop though and had a nice chat.

Back home now after hm leek and potato soup and hm bread and going to put my feet up. Have updated my sig. Keep warm and safe everyone.

It'll be my 3rd NSD this month as I'm on day off and far too cold to venture out. I did go and pick up a friend to take her to work this morning and the car said it was -17.5 degrees outside!! So I'm staying put.

Started a bit of a de-clutter today, but the rubbish may well have to wait until tomorrow to go outside.

De-cluttered some pork that I found in the freezer. Wasn't really sure what to do with it as I'm not really a big fan of pork, so decided to cook it in the slow cooker, which will give me time to find a recipe on here!

Baking some potatoes at the mo, will do for dinner & lunch 2mo.

Spend today £17.89

Has anyone got any interesting recepies for pork chops? I took some out the freezer this morning but should have a couple left over
