Hi all. Have decided my target may be unrealistic for us so am changing my January target to £350 (2 adults, 2 kids, 1 dog, 1 cat!) Hopefully sticking to this will keep us on track as I am now planning meals and writing down every single expenditure and trying to kick the habit of wandering down to the Tescos at the end of our road and coming back with a lot more than the milk I went down to get!Slimming World: SD: 2.05.16 SW: 13st10lb

Please can someone tell me how they plan a budget for groceries, and how to stick to it when there are offers on, really need some help please!
I just do £10 per week per adult..since thats just me £40 would be lavish.. £30 is being a bit careful/sensible..but still plenty!
Theres lots of ways of doing it..how about just reducing slowly £5 a month or £10 a month from what your doing now?? - may be easier and less of a shock :eek:OU Law studentMay Grocery challenge£30/ £110 -
Hi there everyone, could i be put down for £260.00 for January please. I keep trying to organise myself but im finding it so hard to get motivated, i totally lost the plot for Decembers grocery challenge so couldnt post. I still have quite a good store cupboard and a half full freezer so im hoping to make a fresh start this year and save some money???? Tonight im doing gammon with mash potatoes and vegetables, i hope to have enough gammon left over for tomorrows lunches.
I so love organised people, i aim to be one myself one daySealed Pot Challenge no. 0920 -

Nipped to T's this morning, think everyone else had the same idea as it was choccablok and chaos! Almost as bad a christmas! OH is back to work 2mrow so needed a few bits for his packed lunch aswell as a few other bits. Glad i had my shopping list, i swear by 'mysupermarket' and always print off my list to take with me. I wouldn't be able to manage now without my list. Sad eh?
Anyhoo £34.24 spent which is half what i normally spend in a week. So here's hoping i dont need anything else.

Hi all
Crikey this thread moves fast !!
Well I have spent £19.90 out of my budget for the month (mine started on 25th Dec as that is the date I get paid) so am not too upset by that at all.
I had a quick look in my cupboards and I have got a nice store of goodies in them already so I am quietly confident that I will do this this month
Good luck to everyone.
