Hello all - I'm afraid that I havent been reading up on all the posts but popped back on to say that I still havent spent anything out of my budget :D but that I do have to go shopping and the list of basics needed is growing by the min  Some store cupboard ingredients that I have run out of Wholemeal four etc and some deoderant needed (can only use Mitchum - OMG how expensive ) and finally some dry sherry for cooking!!
No offers on deod at the mo and have checked out the sherry price in my local Mr T but I am getting M&D to check out the other places while I am at work today.
Hope everyone else doing ok - will update my sig once I have done my shop tomorrow night .........

I have excel 2007 and discovered the other day a very useful template "weekly meal planner" and "grocery" list ....
Not sure what version of excel I have--I'm not very good with pootas --so were they already installed or have you been following our resident spreadsheet whizz [aka cw18] around the boards :p Could you share details please, as I'm forever using odds bits of envelopes & things at the mo...

    Morning everyone,

Managed a NSD yesterday - yay!

Children not back at school until tomorrow, so today's plan is to go to the charity shop to donate some goods, then pop into MrT as we still have lots of Xmas cheeses and no crackers (gromit).

We also need milk as the milkman isn't coming until tomorrow morning and we are down to our last pint.

Hopefully will manage to come away with those two items - will update later.

Good luck to all those returning to work/school today. Hope the weather doesn't affect your journey too much.

    HELP!!!!
My budget estimate was wrong I think, too early I know, but I forgot that my petrol has to come from that 350. :(:(

Also i think things are already getting out of hand as I am spending money on clothes and other bits in the late sales, I did not have much left at the end of Dec, so didn't go to the sales then, but now getting some bargains for my kids.

hello and warm welcome to newbies and returners :hello: Helen will be along to add you to the front page list soon.

We have lovely sunshine again this morning but a bad bad frost last night. It really cheered me up yesterday when I noticed a clump of daffodil buds coming up outside the front door, they're about 4 inches high already so Spring is definitely coming :j
