Yesterday I spent £13.12 on reduced fruit and veg, crumpets, mozzrella and seeded bread. Also 44p on a bottle of water. Note to self to take own water with me in future. Today looks like a no spend day. So total spend so far is £13.12.0

Please count me in this month! Going for £200 for 2 adults and 1 pooch! Have plenty in cupboards but trying to eat healthily so need lots of veg and fruit. Also going to try more pulses in recipes, have plenty of beans and lentils in stock.
We have guests tonight so have given in and bought some shortcuts today (savoury muffins, smoked salmon blinis, mini quiche etc) at Mr S but they were reduced from the before Christmas prices and might just last us for tomorrow as well, also managed to snaffle some 10p bargains - pack of pitta bread, pack of scotch pancakes, tub of brandy butter and a tub of contreau butter - all in the freezer now. Together with months supply of gravy granules (2 for £1), some milk and yogurt and a birthday card. Total spend £31.19Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Did my big monthly shop today. spent £47.47 out of the £100 for this month, which I am happy with, as all we need to get for the rest of the month are fresh fruit and veg top ups0

well have spent £32.31 already!!! however that include deo for OH, Conditioner for me that will last about 4-6 months, and a couple of bulk bought bits.
am determined to use up veg rather than allow it to be chucked away, (tis a mission in this household!!) so made leek & pot soup yesterday and froze half, so thats four lunches pre-prepped. [STRIKE]kept the rest for dinner tonight and might even fry a little chopped chorizo up and drizzle the oil over the top (similar to a hairy biker recipe)[/STRIKE] had chips, egg, beans, mushroom, bacon, tomato & toast for dinner (needed warming)
have got OH to agree to taking lunches to work again so lots of pasta salads, couscous, and leftover stew's are in the pipeline!
tc all stay warm

Had an impruto get together with friends & family yesterday, ended up ordering a take away as house we were in had virtually no food . Take away didn't cost us anything as BIL paid ours as we paid theirs last time (last month) so nothing to declare:j and it was delicious.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Small shop in MrT today. Took my list but unfortunately they had run out of Bold 2in1 liquitabs 24s (on offer 2 for £9 until 4th Jan) also they didn't have value yorkshires so had to get A.Be$$ies for 3 times the price . Got 2 loaves of 50/50 bread on whoopsie @89p each and a tin of alphabet spaghetti for Monday lunchtime. Not many roast beef joints to choose from, so I guess that's what the masses are having for Sunday lunch tomorrow! Also got parmesan which was an additional item.
Total spent £19.31 against the £24.52 I was expecting to spend. Will try again tomorrow for the washing tabs. Off to update total.
Have a good evening everyone.
