    Been to MrA and it was not fun!!!
    It was vry very busy, they had practically no food but we did get a couple of whoopsies;

    Pigs in blankets £1.25
    Sliced Beef 20p
    Cooked Rice x 4 for 10p each

    Pasties are eaten, Beef and Garlic Sausage are in the fridge and everything else is in the freezer.

    Should of cost £22.57 actual cost was £5.68 so saved £16.89

    We also got 5kg bag of Basmati Rice which was on offer for £5 instead of £7.48. Must update siggy now

  • 11.95 spent on whoopsies tonight in tesco, house and freezer and shed is brimbing but couldn't help myself, stuff reduced from between 3.50 and £1 down to between 35 p and 6p each. so now have 8 packs of bread, 8 packs of pigs in blankets, 10 packs of mini sausages, 4 packs chestnut stuffing, some roast beef slices, roast spiced ham slices, 4 packs stuffing balls, tray of poached salmon, plus the crisps and tortilla chips and dips for tonight, now need to see how i can condense the freezer contents further to fit it all in!

    My plan for keeping my spending down over the next few days, have a picnic packed in the boot of the car to nibble from as needed (between visits to friends) so i'm not tempted to stop at the garage for snacks/sandwiches,
    to meal plan for sunday (3 guests) and beyond with what i have, and not to go into a shop again for a very very long time until i have planned a purchase (and have a list). I tend to shop once or twice every day as a social link so this will be hard for me...

    On monday when normal life resumes and dd is at school i will write a proper meal plan..
