January 2010 Grocery Challenge

I'd like to declare £279.43 out of a budget of £360 please. I'm really pleased. We bought everything online and if we ran out of bread made HM bread as we seem to just pop out for a loaf and spend a fiver, which soon adds up. I'm doing one big online shop a week and that's it, so we've had mainly NSD which I'm really proud of !!! Even our 4 year old has started getting pocket money rather than us buying comics or sweets, teaching him about budgeting nice and early - bless
I'd also like to have the same budget of £360 for February please.:hello:

I've just been up to the local shops and bought my last few January bits. I haven't quite made it budgetwise - £13.09 over but that's not too bad.
I've also had a T*sco delivery this morning which is going into Feb spends and needs to last until about 16/2. My aim now is to do as litle day to day spending as possible - still too much nipping to the shops!
So declaring for Jan at £463.09.August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
Hello again
I didnt realise you all declare your spends -
I just scraped in under £170 - less than a quid under , but under none the less:T. Its taken 3 months to get below £170! Still just posted on Feb - going for £160 in Feb
See you on the flip side
Trin
Ah yes-a lot of us declare our spends! You should feel proud as although it took you 3 months to get to this point(it can be hard)you have done it! Well done! And you are under-not a little over. You are also brave trimming some more off so do congratulate yourself. You are more likely to suceed than someone unrealistic who has one amazing month then overspends all year-being consistent is very helpful to your budget and trimming it gradually will keep you in better habits than drastic action which seems to work for a few weeks but is impossible to maintain. I shall be declaring later today when Im sure my spending is done. For those of you who keep receipts-do put them in a spending diary every day or two-its so easy to lose them otherwise!Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0 -
I'd like to declare £120.39 for January please. My budget was £200 as it was the first time I'd ever done it and a good estimate for what I've spent in the past. I had a freezer and cupboards full of food after Christmas and we've been using that up, plus we stayed in a lot due to the snow. Oh, and careful spending on my part of course: if left to hubby he'd not bother comparing prices or shopping around. January was not a typical month though, so I'm not expecting future months to be as low, although I won't know until I try.
Budget for February for LoopyChriss will be £200 again please Mrs M.Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

Can you put me down for £390 for February please, failed miserably last month, but the target was a bit unrealistic.
Thanks0 -
Hi
