not sure if this PEVA would be suitable for lunch bags but argos selling PEVA shower curtain for £1.99 and seen it in sainsburys for same price too.

If I needed any they would be what I use for the lining of the aprons. Cant see any problem with food related issues to that!.

I have finished my maxi dress. I shall get the picture sorted and post in a bit. Molly took a picture for me, but the background is my messy sittingroom with toys the lot!.:D

I went to town this morning and into a curtain and blind shop. They had a big basket full of remnants for 50p each! I got around 13 pieces and it's boosted my stash brilliantly! (Well, I only had the expensive stuff I bought off the market). It's perfect for doing little purses, bags etc and doesn't matter if I make a mistake. I ordered some velvet croc effect fabric from ebay to make some replacement cushion covers, and 2 of the remnant pieces will go great with it as a backing :)

    Another great bag hart :)

And Florence your dolls are lovely :D
Great to get a bargain. I was disappointed in the fabric choice at Doncaster market. There was some gorgeous curtain fabrics but I wanted dress weight cottons.

Kaz, when I've made roman blinds I've attached the top to the wood with velcro.

    Rufus, the shirt is great.

Florence, your dolls are lovely. Did you say you painted on the shoes? How do they wear?
I use acrylic paint to paint doll shoes and they seem to be fine. Acrylic paint is suitable for fabric and permanent. I am in an online doll making group and they all use acrylic paint.

Evening all, does anyone know where I can find a sewing pattern for a baby sleeping bag (like the gro bags) preferably for free. Thanks in advance :)

Mooloo, the dress looks great! I like the style with the bare shoulders but the tops of the arms covered.

Florence your dolls are adorable! How long does one take to make?
Did the workshops go well in Doncaster?

Not sure on line, but I might still have one around here somewhere. If nobody knows an online one, I will see if I can find it still. I do have lots of patterns somewhere!!! eek;)

The dress was one of the variations on the Simplicity freebie with the Sew Mag, July issue. (D view).

I am not getting this linking to, or copying from blogs at all!! Very frustrating. Even my postings are hit and miss. I think i need lessons!.
Getting the washing done, but not much else at the moment.
Washing up needs doing, the recycling sorted and the bins to go out. (Not so easy, and a job my twin1 usually does this for me), and I have a few things I want to sort out as one of the children from Nursery is coming tomorrow, and her Mum, and all I want to do is sew, as the mum is one that wants four of my bags and purses! I will have to leave the blogs until another time.
