Miss Pixie - what fabric did you get from Ikea? I went last week and got the cream/white one with black and green bird outlines on, it was only £2.03 per metre. I also looked at the one with fruit and seafood on for about £5 and a black one with flowers which was about the same. Hope to go back in the week and get some more to make some bags, seen a Jordy bag pattern that I am going to try to put a front pocket in.

I was going to get the green one but was limiting myself so I chose heavier fabrics which I could use for bags and cushions :)

I got a really nice grey one with flowers they had it in white too I wish I got more and I got a lovely pale blue with pink spots. There are pictures of the fabric I got here: http://misspixiecrafts.blogspot.com/2011/07/i-will-start-with-warning-this-is-going.html

Does anyone know of any patterns for a toy cow?

hi glad you had a good time, you got some nice goodies.

i have that small ironing board in my craft/sewing room i use it for all my sewing projects.

i also have the clear desk protectors on both our craft desks.

and i went to ikea on thursday i got three of the Lack tables in oak all at 1.78 each. they are usually £7.60 each i think

ive put two in the loung in our house and one in the holiday let next door.

all our fittings and furniture in our new house is proper oak but you cannot tell the difference.

the lady in the ashton store where i went told me they had 150 wardrobes in the sale and they all sold out within 10 minutes on thursday.

I've got the middle two fabrics in the first picture on your blog - I must take another trip to Ikea :D I want one of those tabletop ironing boards too, so I can get the normal ironing board out of my craft room. How much was it?

There's this cow pattern, it's very cute, not free though but it is an instant download: http://www.funkyfriendsfactory.com/products/patterns/soft-toy-patterns/patty-the-cow-instant-download/

For those short of space for fabric have you thought of this
I have 1 for tshirts & woolies & they are very robust you get loads in them.
My DS used to to have a games console on each shelf of his hung beneath his high sleeper ( we popped a sheet of ply on each shelf for safety ) back in the day of segs & N64 etc.

Some lovely makes I really need to get myself into gear.

I wish I had space for that :P We live out of two rooms and there is some form of storage covering all of the walls apart from where the beds are! We have high bookcases to makes the most of what little space we have. We are probably moving this year into a little flat which won't have space for all my craft stuff :( gutted!

I am going to sew fabric bins today one for the cats toys and a few little ones for putting scraps in I filled my old scrap box in a month!
