    i personally dont know of any but have you tried your yellow pages in all the areas sorry if you have already tried, i live on the iow and i found mine through asking around in my local shop, i can sew but not amazingly so find some repair jobs harder than others

    Thanks for the suggestion 'LJM' but whilst the Yellow Pages may be a useful directory is does not serve any use as an indicator of quality. Where we live (Bedfordshire borders) very few people bother with either Bespoke Tailoring or having garments made to measure (judging by their appearance !).

    The selvedge is the finished edge of the fabric. Usually the sides or width of the fabric. The other edges have been cut to length and will fray. Selvedges don't.

    just called in to share with you all 3 more purses I have done for the craft stall :D
    I loved the Mabel Lucie Atwell fabric I used for my other ones that I just had to buy some in yellow (also got a meter of it in blue :o) must leave off buying fabric untill Ive used some of what I already have :o

    I downloaded a pdf file ages ago, and had it stored on the computer. But I didnt keep the instructions, they were obvious how to make.
    I am terrible for surfing the net and downloading then not making anything!.
