i personally dont know of any but have you tried your yellow pages in all the areas sorry if you have already tried, i live on the iow and i found mine through asking around in my local shop, i can sew but not amazingly so find some repair jobs harder than others:xmastree:Is loving life right now,yes I am a soppy fool who believes in the simple things in life :xmastree:0

Thanks for the suggestion 'LJM' but whilst the Yellow Pages may be a useful directory is does not serve any use as an indicator of quality. Where we live (Bedfordshire borders) very few people bother with either Bespoke Tailoring or having garments made to measure (judging by their appearance !).0

The selvedge is the finished edge of the fabric. Usually the sides or width of the fabric. The other edges have been cut to length and will fray. Selvedges don't.
Good luck!Jack of all trades ... Master of none

I downloaded a pdf file ages ago, and had it stored on the computer. But I didnt keep the instructions, they were obvious how to make.
