Thanks for all the compliments - I love sewing although I've only recently started again. I have three part-time jobs and I find sewing so relaxing - I'm just glad that I can make a fourth income!!0

Hi everyone, do you mind if I join in? I am a bit of a novice sewer (sewer??? that doesn't sound right does it lol!!!) but have been inspired reading through this thread, I have already reserved about 4 duvet sets in the argos sale for cheap fabric! am going to have a go at making some softies for the kids and maybe a bag for myself
I'll let you know how I get on!. At the moment I have just started making myself a tunic top but the material is georgette and its a bit of a nightmare to work with as its so flimsy, wish me luck!Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -
