Well not been sewing at home since before Christmas. I suppose as I am creating stuff 3 days a week for work I don't feel the need. But I really do need to up my game this year. Never had a success at the table tops so think I will need to rethink what I do this year.
Although I am getting a display cabinet in the reception at work which may eventually pay off.
I still haven't fathomed out how to get photos from the iPhone to upload on here.
Hope your all well and enjoying your creative moments.
Try and catch up again soon.

That would be a good idea Mooloo so people can see a range of your work in the cabinet. Can't help with the iPhone I'm afraid.
This is not sewing as such, but it does have a bit of fabric attached!
My Quirky Mermaid shell spoons.

As far as I am aware you cannot upload them directly, you will have to upload them from your phone to either your blog nod then copy the link from ther to here or upload them to something like flickr and do the same.0 -
I have 2 fleece bath robes with holes in, one more than the other. I was thinking of cutting out squares of the bad one and cover holes in the other. I have a sewing machine but only used it once and in a difficult to drag out space. so will have to do my hand, to make the job easier and not have edges fraying I was thinking of buying some pinking shears and use them to cut out the shapes and then either sew them on or use fabric glue. I was wondering if anyone had done anything similar and could perhaps pass on some tips0

using one to patch the other is doable. fleece is fine to cut with ordinary scissors as it doesn't fray. Unlike towelling which does.
Depending where your holes are you could appliqu! art work like flowers or hearts over the holes. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
thanks, don't really want to add any art work as such as it is a betty boo robe with pics on it already. didn't know about it not fraying, already have a bag of squares I have salvaged from robes and fleece that I was going to sew together to make one big, huge throw, didn't really notice whether they had frayed or not, well that saves me price of pinking shears0

I'd like to make a cover for my Kenwood Chef. I'm struggling to make one without a pattern. Has anyone made one or can direct me to a pattern for one?0
