Lovely dolls, both of you, I am sewing Christmas presents but cant post pics as afraid the people might see them. Got a craft fair this weekend, hoping to shift some stock as I seem to have loads at the moment, although one good sale and it would go down quickly as my stuff all seems to be big, cushions and that.0

Hope you do well at the fair Rufusdog.0

Just heard it might be cancelled Pennib, not having much luck here, I wanted to do as many as I can in the run up to Christmas but cant afford the upfront payment for the stalls to book them. had booked this one but they have had a flood in the hall so looks like it will be cancelled0

Hello everyone
I have been following this thread since it started but never really posted. I have been sewing since I was about 4 years old (I'm now nearly 43) but haven't done much for a few years due to this and that - life got in the way. I absolutely love sewing and have decided its time to make time for me and do some more things I enjoy.
I used to be a self employed dressmaker and would like to get back to self employment using my fabric skills soon.
One of the first things I plan to do is make some new clothes as I went shopping yesterday to buy some as a birthday gift and came home with two pairs of jeans. I have two problems, firstly I have put on weight in the past few years and being an apple shape I hate how everything looks on me and secondly the clothes in the shops are sooooooooo boring and the same everywhere.
So I hope you don't mind if I pop back on soon and show you what I've achieved. Now if only I could lose some weight and be the same size as flo (my dressmakers dummy) life would be simpler.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

Looking forward to seeing what you make Parsniphead, I like making clothes as well but dont do a lot of it as never got enough fabric in to make anything out of. We dont have any cheap fabric shops near us so I can only buy it if we go up to London which isnt that often lately.0
