Lovely cushions are they appliqu! or embroidered

Thanks. The hearts are applique with embroidery over the top. The little lady is redwork embroidery. (or running stitch!)

My daughter is full of a cold and feeling very sorry for herself so I made her a little purse to keep her inhaler in. It's hand sewn as it was the 1st one I've made and took a bit of working out, but it totally unzips-no practical use at all, but quite funky.


Here it is hanging on my fridge.
