Does anyone have this? Someone just posted it on a FB page and I am blown away by the price and wondered if it would just be good for small projects. I was also wondering how often the price comes down. If its a special for the weekend as they are having a match the competitors weekend.
Do you think you could say make curtains on it or would it be too smal?
its basically the Janome sew mini machine which i bought for my daughter heres is white with red accents. if its any help my daughter is 10. its a good little machine but i wouldnt want to make curtains on it i dont think it would cope with fabric and header tape.
JL do another one which is bigger and usually about £90 that one may be better if its on offer too. but there are loads of basic regular size machine available at good prices these days.0 -

Need some advice on storage ladies. At the minute im using two pop up laundry baskets to keep my fabric and everything else related. The dog just drags my fabric and hes really upset me. I haven't room for my stuff really it's just sitting under the dining room table.I'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!JUST LOVES THE O/S BOARD0

I have a wardrobe in my spare room and I put shelves in it so its like a big cupboard. Do you not have anywhere you can keep it upstairs out of the dog's way? I have a dog too and he would be at mine if I left it downstairs.0

Unfortunately we don't have a spare room. Well we do but thats my hubby's computer room and hes not willing to share itI'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!JUST LOVES THE O/S BOARD0

Hmm,difficult then, can you put some shelves up on the wall, or do you have space under a bed?0

Just thought, I used to keep some of my bags of sewing stuff down behind the sofa and armchairs out of sight until OH bought a new cupboard for the front room, I have now filled that up too lol0

No space under the bed. I was wondering about making so storage and a work space in the garage but decided against it because of being cold and damp. Didn't want my machine to get damaged or fabric starting to smellI'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!JUST LOVES THE O/S BOARD0

Yes, think it would be too damp out there for fabric and as you say the machine might get damaged. Shame your OH wont let you share the spare room, my bro and sil share their spare room half computer and half sewing. I am lucky as OH doesnt have a hobby so the spare room is all mine0
