Dead easy the easiest way to draw a heart is fold a piece if paper in half and depending on how big you want your heart use a bobbin of thread for small heart or cup or can of beans for bigger heart
Place cup, can etc on the fold so it hangs off the paper by about a third, draw round it the take a ruler and draw a straight line from the curve down to the fold, hope that makes since once cut out and opened up it should be a heart template that you can place on fabric and cut out. Depending on how long you make your straight line will also alter the look of the heart you will ave a short fat heart or a more folk style heart if you make it longer have a play on copy paper I've done several all different sizes.
You can either sew right sides together turn right sides out fill and then hand sew up the gap or I've cut one out tonight with pinking shears and am going to sew this one wrong sides together and fill with lavender and I am using string as my hanging instead of ribbon.0 -

ok this took minutes to make, i cut a scrap of fabric into a heart shape with pinking shears, this fabric was left over from my fence rail quilt.
I sewed it with wrong sides together for a change and left a small opening, I filled it with lavender and sewed up the gap on the machine.
Ive used some rustic string instead of ribbon, I think it need a bow but its a duck egg blue colour so I need to find a bit of ribbon to match, i can glue that on later.
I also need to get a new knob to replace that ABC one.
Ok used cream ribbon that will match the one on the clock.0 -
