I just seem to always want something different to the stuff I already have, when I have plans to make things! Well thats my excuse anyway.
You need to get your stash to one of those craft/sewing exchanges... I think there's one in London at the weekend.MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
Just thought that I would mention that I have posted a discount code for Cornish Wools on the discount thread
They have some lovely bits and bobs
I hope this helps someone!0 -

I must teach myself how to knit... or speak to my step-Nana nicely and see if she'll pass on her skills!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
It was definitely the needle, i readjusted it and tightened it and now machine works like a dream. the girls both had nice new princess leia outfits for school today and i got lots of compliments on them. i was really pleased seeing as i had no pattern to work from. not sure i could make proper clothes that would look good just yet, but am fine at fancy dress.
i'm feeing inspired now though and the next project is going to be two morticia type dresses for halloween.
then i have christmas bunting on my todo list as well.
i have come by a nice big stash of fabric from freecycle and have lots of ideas for it. i dont think my mum will be getting her machine back anytime soon!!
It must've been a big wrench for the lady to get rid of her stash, but i am very grateful for it.
had to buy DD2 new school shoes so couldn't have justified the expense of buying new fabric or dress up stuff.
if i can get photos uploaded i'll put them up for you to have a gander xfreecycler and skip diver extraordinnaire:cool:0 -

I recently had a go at the pleated purple tutorial and it didnt go too bad, apart from forgetting to double over the handles and put them far enough into the bag (doh)!
I was wondering if anyone knew of a tutorial similar to this bag, but more detailed http://craftgrrl.livejournal.com/4250382.html0 -
