Afraid I have been MIA for a couple of days but a few more bits listed on Netmums.....if theya re not gone by the time I decide I'm brave enough to use the car, they will be going to the charity shop.....actually I will give it till Wed. then they can go on freecycle.....no need for the car!!!!

Only bits in though are groceries, so not too bad xx

posted this ^^^^^^^^ on the 10th and have done nothing about it, but todays the day....of to post the items on the free section of netmums as more snow means I am not going out in the car, again....will catch up on the thread then but I'm sure you are all doing a lot better than me!!!!!
  • Ok… (Holds head in shame)…:o

I have not done any de-cluttering for 2 days now because Tuesday night I went round to friends for dinner and last night OH & I spent time searching and booking flights for our holiday at Easter.

Some exiting news a very special friend is coming to visit from New Zealand at the end of March and will be using our house as a base for 3 months whilst she visits various countries around Europe. :j

This is the kick up the bottom the OH & I needed as realisation hit us last night whilst on the sofa that she is now coming to stay and we HAVE to de-clutter the house and spare room. She has visited and stayed before so she knows we have lots of ‘clutter’ however that was a few years ago and our ‘clutter’ has been breading ever since. :o

We can do this….. (Panic is setting in) ha ha ha ha

Welcome to all newbies, well done to all fellow declutterers you all seem to be doing really well!! :T

OK, message recieved and a pile of stuff should be leaving between 1 and 2 today.....yey!!!!!
  • Hi. please can I join you all? You are all so inspirational! I have loads of stuff to clear out - some in the loft that hasn't seen daylight since we moved in TWELVE years ago!! On a snow day(again!) so I may as well do something useful - when I've finished the ironing! Bins haven't been emptied since Xmas so can't fill them but I can dump stuff in the garage until they do empty them. No charity bags since before Xmas either - keep filling these then no-one comes for them!! Anyway I won't get anything done if I stay on here too long so - Airing Cupboard - here I come!!

    Keep warm. muchowing.

Oooh, how exciting, good luck. OK, we won't count a new baby as clutter :rotfl: but just wait to see how much clutter they cause
