Anyone see Loose Women today? They just had a section on decluttering - talking about alphabetising cds and all kinds. Kate Thornton seems to be the decluttering and neat queen!

Well, Ive been busy. Another 3 bags of recycling and 2 rubbish bags of broken kids' toys!
I'm ruthless, ruthless, I tells ya!:D
Toys have been re-sorted into their proper drawers, stuff that isn't used very much has gone up into their bedrooms.
Beginning to look like a sitting room again!
Keep up the good work. :T:T0 -

So this would not be seen and take up too much room in the fridge.....

Well today I have decluttered my kitchen windowsill and have created a bag of rubbish, so that's my 'items leaving the house' today: For a small window sill there was a lot of carp on there, from memory:
1. Glass vase containing lots of used toothbrushes (why have I kept these - that is a question I feel coming on a lot over the next year).
2. Dead plant. (I kill things, I'm a terrible person).
3. Nail Varnish - half used and very, very gloopy in trollop red.
4. 1 decorative candle in a holder (did used to be 1 of a pair, sadly the other one broke).
5. About 3 tealight holders with half burnt candles in them.
Found: A stash of metal scourers still in a box, a brand new electric toothbrush and a tub of un-used toothpaste.
Windowsill is not only decluttered but clean. Gave it a wash and even used an old toothbrush to clean the grouting.Start Date: 27/11/2010

im so pleased with myself! i cleaned the living room yest after taking the decs, down, threw loads of junk, kept some of the boxes in case i can sell things on, i cleaned the cellear out and arranged for an uncle to pop another radiator in there soon, once i have some spare cash to pay for it,
so thats a crafts room and toyroom again (it has a front door and window, its just a cold room, as there is a garage above it so all the heat goes up there!!!! but i plan to sort the ceiling so the heat doeant eacape, i found an insulated curtain so ive put that up against the door and will pop the other up as you go in so it tops the heat escaping)
Ive cleaned the dining room and kitchen, and just have to empty cupboards and clean them next week,
i cleaned my sons rom and sorted his clothes and handed them on to a friend.
sorted my daughters room and there is a bag of clothes to hand on to my neice, (we get handed clothes to us for her, so shes a lucky girl as she always gets given nice things which is a huge help)
so tom after my night shift im going to blitz her room and get some toys sorted for the charity shop and maybe ebay if they are decent.
I really hoard things so this year is the year i dont!
ive been realy inspired by you all thank you so much!!!:A :j0 -
