I will pledge 100 items this month (july) i know two weeks late but its better to start.
Purpleclutterbuck - the weight the same as me lost 1/2 stone three weeks ago , now lo and behold its back grrrr.

Thanks - and no need to worry. I had my appendix out in late April (keyhole) and, although it took some time, am well healed, however whenever I lift/carry heavy things it begins to ache again. Serves me right! And now that the heavy stuff is gone I won't have to do it again. And it's another reason why I haven't bothered to vaccum the carpets too.
Thanks for the reply - sorry to push, it just sounded awful for you.mineallmine wrote: »Phew. A lot of this is from the cluttered spare room. Phew, day 1 and a quarter of the way to the target. Yay me.

I can report:
18. magazine and newspaper to recycling.
19. book sold on amazon :j
20. matched betting offers paperwork binned now that the World Cup has finished.
Go me!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Right, I need to crack on with this so I'm joining in! I'm going to be moving out of my parent's house over the next few months, and while they've been very tolerant of my hoarding of junk, I doubt my OH will be in our new 1 bed house! He flits from house to house so basically has his stuff slimmed down to a car's worth of boxes (I don't know how he does it!) so while I'll never get that far, I need to try and slim down my stuff. For example, there's a box in front of me that I happen to know has the number plate from my door at university, rescued when I moved out and they demolished the building. I was miserable in that place, so why do I still have it????
Jobs for today:
Sort desk, and write a list of textbooks to do on a poster to stick up at university in September.
Get desk sorted
Get stacks of stuff beside bed sorted
Sort a drawer from the bureau
Hopefully that will be manageable, wish me luck!
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time0 -
Karmacat - Yay to £10 for old LPs
Mineallmine - 83/100 items is a fabulous result! And a great flying start for your next 100.
Greent - brilliant result at the NCT sale.
It has been slow progress over the last few days with just 7 items from the paperwork mountain giving a monthly total of 22 and 2 general items giving a monthly total of 26.
I'm happy with the total figures as I'm about halfway to my targets of 50 of each. Decluttering will be a bit slower this week as I have a friend coming to stay and various other things going on.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅0 -
well i've done a ridiculous amount of tidying for someone who's supposed to resting but i have thrown things out:j.
so the first lots are:-
1. threw a broken toy computer thingy away
2. cleared with loads of paperwork and recycled it.
3. sorted old batteries out for recycling
