Cute little Edward Monkton jewellery roll (40p from charity shop)
    OUT
40-50 books & a bag of bits & bobs to Charity Shop.

I've worked out that when I'm dropping stuff off at Charity shops I'm less likely to buy loads of stuff if I browse before I've handed my stuff over. Otherwise I get an overwhelming desire to fill my shoppng trolley up again with all sorts of clutter. :)

Roflmao, I have to go to the back door to deliver my stuff to the CS...otherwise I would do the same!! (In fact, I was in said charity shop yesterday as I saw a lovely coat for dd2, lol)
:D Skint but happy with my lovely family :D

Since saturady Ive posted loads on mumsnet , frrecycle , loot, and Gumtree , ve had a few bits with intrest , I just want rid of lots of clutter I dont use now , but Ive given expensive things away on freecycle latelty including new things . So im going to list toys etc in my local newsapaper this week along with ebay and other bits ive just mentioned , But I guess this is a slow process . but since this thread im beginning to notice that slowly the mountains are coming down :o
    Since Sunday morning :

    IN
X3 packets of food for the freezer
X6 loaves of Bread in the freezer
    X1 bottle of lemonade

    OUT
    Green bin emptied
x1 bag recyling for next green bin to be emptied
De Cluttered X1 carrier bag of bits round the house not used
X1 Childrens laptop computer in box - Freecycle
X1 Childrens printer in box - Freecycle
    X1 bag of recycling paper

    PENDING
X1 Ladies hair removal system - To be collected from freecycler
X2 Board games - To be collected from freecycler
X1 Teddy Bear - To be collected from freecycler

DE Clutter Lady What do i do with all the toys he has grown out of.. has not played with but doesnt want to part with??
I have the same problem so ive been putting them on Freecycle , and all the others mentioned above - They are all free to list and they are local to all areas , just Ebay is the only one that charges .
I have listed everything on all these sites so whoever asks first gets them . failing that I will be doing a car boot with them or to the charity shop . I saw a thread on here which may be of use to you but this is the site where you send unwanted gifts to help sick chidren :

Not a lot to add today - but all the recycling bins have been emptied and I'm starting to get things sorted to go out in them again.

In was just post today and nothing very exciting, most can go again - in the recycling pile!

Also in some bird food, storage bins and a couple of other bits that got delivered to work.

(sadly in more than out today - must try harder!)

I'm trying to get focussed with selling stuff to help with the decluttering and money making!

Well, what a day! The weather was so good the washing went OUT on the line and came IN later all dry and smelling fresh.
I have decided if the weather is good that I should de-clutter the garden. Many years of building and renovations have left loads of spare stuff in the garden, which I am determined to get rid of. As none of the facing bricks have fallen off (I was told that they would stay put!) I don't need to keep any spares!! Have freecycled these and some drainage pipes so my garden has become a little clearer. Along with chopping a load of logs and having a bonfire (mainly the christmas tree) I have had a good day.

    Carry on with the clutter!!

DH seems to have got the bug, he has sorted about 12 pairs of trouser that don't fit any more, so need to sort for bin / charity bag
Well done charlies_mum DH! There's probably lots of people eager to use them. Clutter - be gone! :D

Hi inaminute, consider yourself kicked. With larger stuff, such as furniture - we put it outside with a sign saying FREE - most things went, within the hour! So maybe worth a go? Best of luck. :A

Right another 9 items gone today::T
    1. Odd plate that had seen better days (gone to sis to use with plants)
    2. Out of date food (loads but only count as one item) to sis
    3. Rubbish (again loads)
    4. Recycling bits (again loads)
    5. Decluttered some xmas chocolate (a Sainsburys version of After Eight mints)...
    6. Cleanser unused to sis - I had 2 bottles of this and didnt find it suited my skin.
    7. Avon Perfume unused to sis - I have a full bottle of another Avon one and the Liz Earle one, as well as various body sprays so time to be harsh.
    8. Some chicklit novel to charity
    9. A magazine to sis

Every little helps. Flylady is the master bedroom tomorrow so it will be good to try and reduce clutter in there. It's so rewarding to be piling up the car boot with stuff ready for charity or my sis, and getting rid of it out of the house. :A
