Hi CompletelyLost, NO you are not the only one like that! I am terrible for electric things too, especially hairdryers and straighteners and things, but I'm trying to change my habits! I'm 19, and desperate not to end up with a house full to bursting (like the house I grew up in!). Start small, and things will get easier, or at least I am hoping they will! Good luck!
Glad I'm not the only one! My parents (particularly my dad) is the worst hoarder - he can't part with anything. Our loft is a dumping ground for all the crap, and it sends me into a panic everytime I go up there and see it all. So yeah, I'm trying to keep myself in check so I don't end up like him at 50!

Right I will only say this once = ditch the slippers!!! If they are no longer useful get rid - you have loved them and used them to death, now it is time to let them go. The people who bought them for you will be happy that you got so much use out of them, but they wouldn't want your toes getting cold 'cause they are sticking out the end :rotfl:hth
I read this back this morn and realised what an idiot I am:rotfl: Actually you know the main problem?? If I ditch them, I know that a few weeks down the line someone will ask where they've gone and I have to explain that I binned them... and I'll get an 'awwww did you? why didn't you patch them up?' response, which makes me feel insanely guilty. But you're so right!!! I have now binned two pairs.

    In today -

I actually feel like I am struggling to stand still.. though looking at the state of the house I am going backwards.. it is like a skip in here but I simply do not have the energy or the motivation to do any decorating or cleaning and it is about all I can manage to keep up with the laundry and pot washing!!
