Thanks everyone :D, still waiting on the cheque to arrive, not sure how long it will take!
Received my £10 tesco voucher from valued opinions and emptied the mortgage pig, which had £19 in it, so rounded it up to £30 and have just paid it off the mortgage :j....at last i feel like we are getting back on track again after an expensive few months.
Also I had a short break abroad booked this week but didnt get away because of the ash cloud . Fortunately i am getting a full refund for £200 because it was a package deal, so i might make another O/P when this comes through.
    Happy tuesday everyone :D

Thanks Pammy, i know what you mean about having it spent in your head before you get it!!!
I was very tempted to go on a bit of a shopping spree with the money, but it was that attitude that left us with the huge mortgage that we have, so i have had to be very disciplined. We have kept enough over to get a garden shed and do a few home improvements so we dont feel too deprived :D
We have slipped a little bit on the takeways and they seem to be gradually sneaking back in now that i am back at work full time so definately need to be more disciplined in June and get back to meal planning!

I am hoping that I have enough to get a decent car and the rest will go on the mortgage while I am on SVR. (thats the plan if I ever get it)
